Lead Parent Group Therapist

 Job Description        

Licensed therapist will oversee the Incredible Years Parent program. Multiple parent groups (15 week cycles) will be conducted throughout the county. Program goals will include providing a responsive supervised visitation, coaching and parenting program to strengthen parent-child interactions and attachment, reduce harsh discipline and foster parents’ ability to promote children’s social, emotional and academic development. Program will provide transportation, supervised visitation and parent coaching prior to parenting groups. Lead will supervise Engagement Specialists (4), Parent Partners (2), a Visitation Supervisor, and licensed eligible therapists(1.5). Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all county documentation and productivity standards are met &that program procedures and policies are followed.

 

 Qualifications        

Valid CA LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or Ph.D; Ideal candidate will have Incredible Years experience and excel in their ability to engage, connect and motivate parents with CWS involvement who are attempting to reunify with their children. Hours will be flexible but will involve some early evenings. Spanish speaking therapists and or experience in providing Incredible Years curriculum are strongly encouraged to apply.
