Access Clinician

 Job Description        

The Access Clinician provides mental health assessments, individual and family therapy, and psycho education in a variety of North County Lifeline clinical programs.The position was created to increase client access to mental health services by providing service in programs most impacted by wait lists. The Access Clinician will rotate into various North County Lifeline clinical programs depending on client wait times and program needs. The position is full time and requires the ability to be flexible and to quickly adjust as program demands change. It is a unique position in that the candidate will gain a variety of clinical experience and must possess the ability to thrive in multiple roles. The successful candidate will need to be highly proficient in CCBH (Cerner, Anasazi) documentation, and be able to work with a variety of different clientele and program personnel.

 

 Qualifications        

Masters Degree in counseling, social work or related field, and BBS-registered AMFT or ACSW, licensed LMFT/ LCSW strongly preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.Bilingual pay available. Able to make sound clinical decisions independently, apply clinical judgment, and perform all other aspects of quality clinical work.Strong BHS, CYF Medi-Cal documentation skills. Proficient in CCBH (formerly known as Anasazi) EHR. Must be able to handle stressful and crisis situations tactfully and appropriately, and to seek supervision when necessary. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate interpersonal sensitivity and work with a diverse population. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships. Reliable transportation is required as clinicians provide services at multiple sites (mileage reimbursed).Successful completion of multi-state criminal background check, TB, and Drug Test.
