General Description: Professional The Behavioral Specialist supports the Klassic Kids and PrimeTime program through observations, interventions, trainings, curriculum development and reflective practices. †This position is responsible for ensuring childcare behavior management best practices are integrated throughout Klassic Kids and PrimeTime. The position reports to the Klassic Kids Program Manager. The Behavioral Specialist will provide support to all (10) KK sites and in addition up to (10) PT sites which will be assigned by PrimeTime Program Managers.



MINIMUM COMPETENCIES  Bachelorís Degree and minimum of 2 year of related experience working with young children ages 0-12  Preference given to applicants that have experience as a Behavior Specialist with an emphasis on social emotional well-being  Experience with the reflective practice process  Solid understanding of childhood development Communicate effectively in written and oral form using positive interpersonal skills  Develop and implement behavior and positive support plans  Experience facilitating social interaction in group settings  Current health screen, negative TB test, and immunizations against Measles, Pertussis and annual Influenza (or signed an annual declaration declining the Influenza shot)  Must receive Fingerprint Clearance upon hire (paid by Harmonium)  Must have automobile for transportation, maintain a valid driverís license and active auto insurance  Must be CPR and First Aid certified


 Additional Information        

Department: Klassic Kids and PrimeTime Hours: 22 hours per week with Klassic Kids & 18 hours per week with PrimeTime Salary: $16-$18 per hour (all new hires begin at starting rate, regardless of experience) Benefits: $175 monthly towards health, dental, vision, voluntary and/or HRA; 403b Retirement Plan with a match of up to 2% based on years of service; initial 3 years, vacation time 13.33 hours per month after 3 years, 16.67 hours per month; sick time 8 hours per month How To Apply...
