Bilingual Case Manager- CHOICE

 Job Description        

, utilize a team approach to provide comprehensive case management, counseling and educational services to youth on probation and their families participating in the CHOICE program. Services include, but are not limited to, in-home support, parent training, crisis intervention, counseling, case management, conducting placement assessments, transporting participating youth, and community education and development. The Case Manager is expected to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team while making sound, independent decisions for the benefit of the clients and their families. The Case Manager works in a culturally sensitive manner and abides by the legal and ethical standards of the profession.



Minimum 1-year experience in child, youth and family services field. Experience should preferably have been in a community based or neighborhood service organization. Experience in the areas of individual, group, and family counseling, outreach, community education and development, advocacy and case management. Ability to work with a diverse cultural population. B.A. or B.S. degree, in social work, psychology or related field, experience may be substituted. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Due to the nature of the work flow and client needs, the Choice Case Manager must be available to work schedules that may include day, evening and weekends to best meet the needs of the population served.

Hire is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment clearances including TB & Drug test and criminal background checks. Salary commensurate with experience and education. Differential pay offered for bilingual skills.
