YYA Advocate- Foster Youth

 Job Description        

Under the general supervision of the LifeSpring Program Manager, assures that all services provided to LifeSpring participants are being implemented through a youth driven, wellness and recovery model that is strength based, culturally relevant, trauma informed, and outcome based that supports self-sufficiency. The Youth and Young Adult (YYA) Liaison provides intensive case management and independent living skills development to the participants. Assist youth in developing skills, obtaining employment, pursuing educational goals, and developing life plans that will support independence. Will conduct intakes, eligibility screenings, and basic needs assessments. In addition, will assist with housing navigation.



BA in social work or related field + 2 years relevant experience required. Experience working with teens and/or transitional age youth who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness. . Belief in the purpose of North County Lifeline and our mission, vision, core values, and philosophy. Available nights and some weekends for groups, events, and/or outings.
