Resource Center Manager

 Job Description        

JOB SUMMARY: Crisis House is a landmark Resource Center and has been a hub in East County for 50 years for people in crisis. The Center targets the homeless population, with people experiencing domestic violence as a subset of this population. The Resource Center is the point of entry to housing programs serving persons affected by domestic violence and homelessness. The Resource Center Manager oversees the programs and staff of the Resource Center and ensures clients receive the services they need. The Resource Center Manager screens all potential program candidates for the four domestic violence Journey Programs and connects them to their program of choice. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Programs, the Resource Center Manager is responsible for the oversight and smooth operations of these programs. The Manager will maintain program policies and procedures and ensure compliance, monitor spending, and prepare reports to funders. This position recruits, train.

 

 Qualifications        

QUALIFICATIONS: •Bachelor’s Degree in social work or directly related field required, Master’s in Social Work, preferred. Two years working with victims of domestic violence with management experience. The ability to read, write and speak in English. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. •Must be proficient with computer systems and software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. •Must have demonstrated ability to understand and articulate best practices around services for at-risk individuals and families including Trauma Informed Care principles. •Must have demonstrated ability to build rapport and gain trust with diverse individuals. •Must have demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships with community providers. •Must have demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team. •Must complete 40 hour required domestic violence training •Understands and supports Housing First practices and requirements for homeless programs.
