Provide reception duties, resource guidance, emergency services, basic crisis intervention and eligibility screening for participants, callers and visitors requesting assistance via CRC’s Integrative Services, Food and
Nutrition, Domestic Violence and Counseling Programs and maintain an ongoing and accurate understanding of
the basic eligibility requirements for each. Answer and screen telephone calls, IS Front Desk phone messages and IS Intake emails and walk in traffic and direct visitors to the appropriate staff.
Complete Initial Intake paperwork with Integrative Services and Food and Nutrition Center participants and
make copies of documents for participants waiting to meet with Case Manager for assessment.

Qualifications |

|
|
Minimum of one years’ experience in Human Service or non-profit field working with diverse population strongly preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience in word processing, data entry, database management, and use of all MS
Office software (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and File Maker Pro required. Strong customer service,
phone, and office management skills and ability to multi-task in a busy office environment a must. Bilingual in Spanish/English required.
Ability to maintain a solution-focused, professional, compassionate attitude during difficult situations. Ability to collect, analyze, prioritize and communicate information effectively with an attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills required. MS Office expertise: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook properties. Office environment: keyboarding, mousing, computer use. Other physical requirements involve walking, stair climbing, lifting, stretching, bending, etc. throughout a regular workday.

Oversee benefits enrollment application assistance program; determine preliminary eligibility, schedule appointments, collect and process documentation, communicate with County of San Diego workers and San Diego Hunger Coalition staff, provide paper application assistance and necessary application follow-up support and ensure timely documentation of participant information.
Oversee mail services program.
Maintain Integrative Services Intake calendar and appointment scheduling.
Order, inventory and ensure availability of office supplies for Integrative Services department. Maintain cleanliness and organization of Integrative Services waiting room, Computer Lab, Front Desk and
file/copy area. Ensure that CRC and appropriate referral collateral are available to participants waiting for
