 Job Description        

Full time positions to work in a new evidenced based program serving children, youth & families throughout San Diego county. Offices are regionalized & positions provide excellent clinical training, supervision & experience. Therapists will work in the certified outpatient behavioral health clinic (or Parenting Program), providing a full range of Title 9 outpatient diagnostic & treatment services for children & families. Services will include assessment, individual & family treatment, case management, crisis intervention, & medication management. NAI will deliver mental health services to children & families who have faced complex trauma, domestic violence, struggled w/ chronic substance abuse & with parents who may be participating in reunification requirements. Services will be provided regionally & in communities where parents live. All staff will understand the importance of engaging, connecting & motivating parents who struggle w/ mental health issues & substance abuse.

 

 Qualifications        

Requirement: Registered with the CA BBS as AMFT, APCC, ACSW New Alternatives offers excellent health benefits, dental benefits, 403B, Family Fitness plans, vacation and sick leave and competitive salaries based on education and experience. Positions offer extensive training in Incredible Years, an evidenced based practice and clinical topics through our monthly clinical training series. Therapists will be certified to provide evidenced based curriculum for parents involved with CWS and who are attempting to reunify with their children. Weekly Parenting groups will include therapeutic visitation and coaching where parents will practice concepts learned in groups. Service delivery will be flexible to meet parentís needs and offered in the communities where they live. Spanish speaking therapists and/or experience in providing Incredible Years curriculum are strongly encouraged to apply. Hours will be flexible but will involve some early evenings.
