Intake Coordinator Temp

This position will be the primary point of entry for client referrals seeking treatment through the Recovery and Wellness Center (RWC) residential and withdrawal management programs at Interfaith Community Services. This position will gather information to screen clients for admission to RWC substance use disorder (SUD) programs based on appropriate level of care. The Intake Coordinator will complete a variety of office and administrative duties to assign clients to the various modalities of treatment within the Recovery and Wellness Center. This position will be responsible for accurately assigning client level of care based on American Society of Addiction Society (ASAM) level of care criteria, and providing warm hand off referrals outside of RWC when applicable.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • Must currently certified by the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), California Association of DUI Treatment Programs (CADTP) or the California Association of Drug/Alcohol Educators (CAADE) and maintain this certification without interruption • Experience working with individuals with alcohol, drug and mental illness, or homelessness required • 2 + years of experience working in an addiction treatment facility, social services, or non-profit setting required • Experience working with Medi-Cal contracts and documentation preferred
