Vista Hill's new GPS Assessment Program is recruiting PT and per diem Assessors to provide high quality and time-sensitive evaluations of students referred by our contracting school districts throughout San Diego County. Previously provided by County Mental Health AB2627/ERMHS staff, these services are now being provided by private/non-profit organizations. Special Education legal requirements still apply and assessment services must occur within specific timelines. The Assessor becomes part of the IEP process in evaluating and recommneding services for these referred students. Assessment, report writing, IEP participation in collaboration with the school, student, and parent/guardian are essential aspects. We are looking for skilled clinicians to contract for individual assessment assignments. We have a 20 hr salaried position (no benefits) and several per diem contracting positions open.

| Qualifications |

|
|
|
Licensed LMFT, LCSW, or Psychologist with experience in educationally based mental health assessment and treatment. Strong clinical skills, excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills needed.

|
Most services will occur on school sites. As such ability and willingness to travel to defined areas must be considered.
