 Job Description        

City Heights Community Development Corporation (CDC) seeks a qualified and experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure that the operation of 94 units of multi-family affordable housing property is in full compliance with industry standards,and for the completion of all routine and emergency property maintenance activities. Abilities: •Perform basic math and understand measurement systems used in the trade •Work in a collaborative manner and as part of the site team •Relate well to people of diverse backgrounds, residents, vendors and co-workers •Comprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in writing •Flexible and adaptable to changes in work plans •Use maintenance, trade and testing equipment and tools safely and effectively •Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver’s license and insurance) •Treat a variety of people with respect and compassion •Responds to emergencies after hours, as required •Represent CHCDC in a professional manner at all times



Experience: Minimum two (2) years in skilled maintenance work required. Technical expertise in one or more building trades required. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training in a building trade required. Technical certifications in related field(s) preferred.


 Additional Information        

Salary range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, plus benefits, depending on experience Application:
