Financial Analyst

 Job Description        

Position prepares fringe benefit invoices for payment and resolves invoice/system discrepancies. Reconciles 3rd party fringe benefits system to payroll system deductions and benefit deductions to fringe benefit invoice payments in the general ledger. Prepares retirement/HSA/FSA contributions files to be sent to vendors. Reconciles retirement plan contributions to vendor data. Prepares schedules for benefit plan audit, financial statement audit, tax return, indirect cost proposal, and budgets. Prepares data and submits annual Form 5500 for welfare benefit plan and flexible spending plan. Manages all property tax related duties. Prepares merit models. Prepares employee counts for insurance reporting and bond reporting.

 

 Qualifications        

Minimum of five years of professional experience in accounting or finance. Must have the ability to interpret reports and analyze data with attention to detail. Must have strong problem solving skills including the ability to recommend options and implement solutions. Proven working experience as a financial analyst.
