Patron Services Representative

 Job Description        

Under general supervision, provides excellent customer service to Playhouse Patrons, perform basic cash handling processes, issue tickets and perform related work as required. Reps are responsible for selling and processing ticket orders for shows/events and resolving patron complaints within the scope of their responsibility; otherwise referring the patron to Lead Patron Services Reps or Patron Services Manager. Patron Services Reps will stay up-to-date on all LJP and UCSD events, source codes, package offerings and special promotions to aide in assisting patrons with questions about UCSD and Playhouse shows and theaters. This is a part-time, non-benefited position that will work 20 -25+ hours per week.



Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel Tessitura Database experience a plus Credit card transaction processing experience (preferred) Strong initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous professional box office experience 1-2 years of high end customer service experience Ability to use a multi-line phone system Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays a must Previous use of electronic ticketing software
