 Job Description        

1.Serving as administrator for one group home, and as on-call supervisor on a rotating basis, ensuring the optimal functioning of all client services with the goal of continuously improving the residentsí every day experience and overall quality of life. 2.Supervising the Residential House Supervisor, and serving as primary trainer and mentor to all Residential Staff in delivering consistently high quality consumer care. 3.Creating individualized Active Treatment Programs (including Individualized Service Plans) that build life skills, striving to increase residentsí independence, including hygiene, cooking, self-care and money management programs. 4.Through direct observation and other assessment methodologies, identifying and designing functional Behavioral Support Plans that effectively reduce, modify, replace, or eliminate interfering behavior and promote positive interactions. 5.Using principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis.

 

 Qualifications        

To apply, you need a Bachelorís Degree in Social Sciences or a related field from an accredited college/university, a minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory position, a minimum of one (1) year experience in designing behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as experience providing training on implementation of support plans to staff. In addition, candidates must have a valid California Driverís license, clean driving record, and be able to transport consumers in an Arc vehicle.
