 Job Description        

Under general supervision, the Executive Assistant to the CEO and Board Liaison provides comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. Works closely with the VP of People and Culture to plan agency-wide staff events and execute on the CEO’s communication calendar. Carries out duties with the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion. Appropriately represents the CEO and JFS as a whole. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Handles all day-to-day responsibilities for the CEO; this includes and is not limited to answering phone calls, scheduling and coordinating meetings, receiving visitors and other general administrative functions • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with the CEO, Board Chair, and select donors • Calendars and coordinates all meetings and keeps CEO informed of any changes; produce agendas, prepare and review documents and order food/beverages, where applicable



MINIMUM DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field • 5+ years of experience in a high-level administrative or executive assistant capacity • Experience working with and Board of Directors/Governing Board • Experience coordinating large scale events for 150-200 people • Experience with billing, reconciliation and basic financial functions and documentation MINIMUM DESIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Ability to prioritize, work efficiently and meet deadlines • Detail-oriented with excellent planning skills • Works independently with minimum supervision • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to write and edit memos, reports, e-mails, agendas, minutes, etc. • Ability to build working relationships with various personalities in a variety of settings • Must be proactive in meeting and exceeding needs of the CEO and other leaders
