 Job Description        

The role of Employment Training Specialist (ETS) works directly with the clients in our program to assist them in making their dreams come true. This could include teaching them new job skills, encouraging them while they develop professional skills and behaviors, and building confidence and experience in the things they are interested in. An ETS in our program would be responsible for attending the same job site or community site as their client(s), and is on site as needed to provide support and encouragement.

Overview of Responsibilities: Attend a variety of community sites and employers alongside clients that are performing work or engaging in activities Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to clients to enhance their skills and behaviors Assist in development of problem solving, assertiveness and decision making skills that will assist clients in being successful Develop and implement individualized training and support strategies for clients Be a role model for clients in all aspects of work ethics, behavior, and professionalism Initiate and maintain positive relationships with clients, employers, community partners, and peers Accurately document notes, submit reports in a timely manner, and keep files organized and up to date at all times Essential Qualities and Abilities: Reliable transportation is required with valid Driver's License, Insurance, and clean driving record Dependable and accountable. Excellent attendance is vital to providing the support to our clients.
