 Job Description        

Accountable to the THP-Plus/FC Program Manager for supervision, training and monitoring residents of a SDYS-owned apartment complex; works cooperatively with program staff and SDYS Housing & Facilities Department to provide consistent services to all residents focused on safety.



Able to reside on site and model safety and appropriate independent living skills for residents. Minimum 2 years of experience working with transition age youth (18-24), sensitivity to a variety of social/cultural backgrounds, including former foster youth. Must be willing to support youth by providing immediate or timely interventions during crisis situations. Must be willing to develop or possess working knowledge of trauma-informed care and dual diagnosis treatment; experience working in trauma-informed and dual diagnosis programs preferred. Must maintain CPR/First-Aid Certificate. Must have good driving record and willing to use own, properly insured, reliable vehicle for the job (mileage reimbursed). Must be willing and able to drive agency van (15 passenger) in order to move youth in and out of apartments. Employment subject to clearances, which include background finger printing checks, driving record, Tuberculosis testing, and drug testing.
