Are your ready to support Elite Athletes?

Summary:
Perform the set-up, tear down, and maintenance of the training center sports venues and equipment, audio/visual equipment, and meeting rooms in accordance with established policy referenced in the Venues Team Policy and Procedures at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center. Provide support to Guest Services and Facility Management for training center programming. Provide excellent customer service to all visitors and guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform set-up and tear down, operation, maintenance and repair of all sports venues, equipment and meeting rooms on the training center complex as directed by Venue Operations and Facility Management.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the sports venues, equipment and meeting rooms and report any concerns to the Facility Management Team.
  • Assure a high level of sanitation and safety is maintained in all areas of the training center venues. Be willing to learn and demonstrate a working knowledge after six (6) months of venue operations.
  • Report maintenance problems via daily shift reports, safety hazards, and equipment repair needs to the Management.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all current equipment and venue standards. Maintain and track all sport equipment inventory and identify and recommend ordering of new equipment.
  • Continually exhibit friendly customer service.
  • Be consistently at work and on time.

 

 Qualifications        

Requirements:

  • Obtain Red Cross certification in CPR/AED and First Aid. EAS will train and pay for CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive work environment. Flexible in approach, even-tempered, friendly, knowledgeable, cooperates readily with others, patient with unexpected changes.
  • Forklift and tractor operatorís certification. EAS will train and pay for CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience or willingness to learn athletic equipment set-up, dismantle, and movement, including national and international specifications.
  • Experience or willingness to learn technical and mechanical requirements of athletic facility operation to include electronic timing/scoring systems, PA/ sound system, audiovisual system, lighting systems and environmental systems.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends, evenings, holidays.
