Membership Clerk

 Job Description        

The Membership Clerk is responsible for maintaining the front desk, providing quality customer service ensuring the safety of Club members and maintaining all membership functions including EZ data system entry and data maintenance, payment collection, processing and membership files. The Membership Clerk provides regular clerical and administrative support to Clubhouse Manager and members. Maintains schedules and calendar, answers telephones and maintains electronic and hard copy files. Responsible for providing a point of contact for walk in traffic, incoming telephone calls, granting access to the building, and supporting the highest level of customer service for members and visitors.

 

 Qualifications        

1.Maintain the safety, security and appearance of the front desk. 2.Maintains master schedule of Club activities and events, collecting and disseminating information to Club staff, volunteers, members and families as instructed. 3.Answers telephones, providing general information, referring callers to other appropriate Department Programs administrative staff or taking messages as necessary. Answer phone calls and direct caller to appropriate program extension or direct program phone line. 4.Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the Clubhouse. Greet, monitor and track all visitors. 5.Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously. 6.Enters member information into EZ data management system. 7.Performs regular secretarial duties, preparing correspondence and reports as requested by supervisor and composes draft letters following established formats. Proofreads all materials for accuracy prior to supervisory review and signature.

 

 Additional Information        

Part-time (with increase to 40 hours per week during four (4) break week camps and summer season). Non-benefited with exception of paid sick time per County of San Diego Ordinance. HOURS:26 Hours per Week: M,T,Th,F 1:00–6:00pm and W 12:00–6:00pm LOCATION:Polster Branch (3800-A Mykonos Lane, San Diego, 92130) HOURLY WAGE:$13-$15 BOE Application Process:Please send resume and cover letter to jobs@bgcsandieguito.org.
