 Job Description        

• Engages and assists clients to connect with and obtain needed services in the community, such as health services, employment, substance abuse treatment services and housing services, that suit the individual’s needs; • Engages individuals to actively utilize the bio-psychosocial rehabilitation services for determining personal objectives / goals for recovery and steps that need to be taken to achieve these goals; • Maintains an active client caseload of clients who may require case management and/or transition support services. • Works independent of and in coordination with the a multi-disciplinary team to meet the emotional and practical supportive needs of program clients; • Assists individuals to identify problems that may interfere with the achievement of their goals and help in the development and use of specific interventions needed for overcoming the problems; *Please see full job description on our website at:



A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is: Completion of high school with a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent. At least one year of related experience and/or training with the mentally ill population; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduates from the Recovery Innovations of California (RICA)’s Peer Employment Training Program are preferred.
