Administrative Assistant

 Job Description        

Recovery International seeks a part-time Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Project Manager and the Recovery International office in San Diego. These duties include but are not limited to: answering phones, sending email communication, assist Project Manager in report writing, create outreach flyers and notices, track meeting attendance and update and maintain spreadsheets. Minimum of 2 years of office experience required, experience with excel and word programs a must, non-profit and/or mental health awareness strongly preferred. Ideal candidates will have strong written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, and display excellent judgment, professionalism, and flexibility. This individual will work in a small office in a professional building in Mission Valley. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. This position requires availability Monday-Friday during business hours, work on average 20-25 hours a week, flexible schedule. Some additional weekend availability maybe needed for special events.  Qualifications        

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum two years exceptional customer service experience. • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills. • Able to plan, organize, prioritize own work and schedule • Bilingual in Spanish encouraged but not required. • Desire to work in a mental health non-profit environment. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team. • Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel) • Knowledge of general office machines and telephone system. • Ability to maintain excellent customer service at outreach events. • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information. • Ability to lift/push/pull minimum 25 lbs., maximum 60 lbs. • Availability to work Monday-Friday during business hours required with occasional weekends. $15-$16/HR. Casual work environment with employee perks.
