GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Line cook must work within the state and county regulations. The kitchen prepares and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for residents in a treatment center.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner;
Detail orientated;
Keep production records;
Clean;
Serve food;
Make special dishes for clients with food allergies;
Set up the work station;
Prepare ingredients;
Use various utensils for preparing and cooking food;
Supervise utility workers;
Lifting and moving up to 20 lbs.
Monitor and note food, water, refrigerator, and freezer temp.
Ensure that all food are stored properly.
Check the quality of ingredients;
Fill out production records.

Qualifications |

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
♦ High School Diploma
Experience:
♦ 2 to 4 years of line cook experience
♦ Ability to work as a team
♦ Ability to work with in state and county regulations
♦ Take directions and constructive criticism from the supervisor
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Excellent communication skills;
Excellent attendance;
Team player;
Work independently;
Documentation;
Customer service.
Starting pay is $14.00
Full Time position with medical, dental, sick and vacation time.
