Data Analyst

 Job Description        

•Develop and maintain data dictionaries and other data management documents (fidelity check lists, data plans and specifications, etc.) to support teams with data collection, analysis, and usage •Ensure teams are following data collection standards and reporting guidelines •Work with teams to ensure data entry and quality assurance have been completed by agreed upon timelines according to reporting deadlines •Utilize a variety of advanced tools and technologies to extract, organize, and analyze raw data to ensure quality, identify trends and patterns, and assess progress towards outcomes •Support teams with technical assistance related to data entry and quality assurance techniques; Troubleshoot data collection challenges and support teams in overcoming these challenges •Use on demand and ad hoc queries and reports to review, monitor, and report on evaluation outcomes •Compile master list of program outcomes and progress on each

 

 Qualifications        

•Bachelor’s degree in social science, statistics, or a related field is required •One to three years of related experience required •High level of computer proficiency, including working with data management systems and spreadsheets •Experience with data collection, entry, and quality assurance •Experience reviewing contracts and monitoring evaluation outcomes and key performance indicators •Excellent data analysis and critical-thinking skills •Must be a self-starter •Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills •Strong attention to detail, identifying data trends, troubleshooting, and analytical skills •Ability to work in a very diverse setting with people of all backgrounds, culture and orientation •Must be able to work independently and as part of a team •Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with staff and community partners •Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills
