 Job Description        

Overview: The Assistant to Director of Academics & Research will support the Director of Academics & Research in program implementation and organization. The Assistant to Director of Academics & Research will assist in weekly tasks to support trainees, patients, and communication with the public. The Assistant to Director of Academics & Research will work with Education, Marketing, and Training Department staff in order to provide logistic and administrative support to these programs.

 

 Qualifications        

Required Skills: Ability to deal with emotional, health-related calls with sensitivity Ability to multitask in an organized manner Compassionate and caring individual Demonstrated outstanding telephone manner with strong customer service skills Excellent Communication Skills - Verbal, Interpersonal, Written Excellent work attendance and punctual arrival Passion & Interest for Public Health and Wellness Positivity Professional Writing (Example of Work) Strong Organizational and Prioritization Capabilities Teamwork Skills Willingness to Learn Education: Bachelorís Degree required or higher preferred Minimum of 3 years of work experience Equivalent combination of education and experience

 

 Additional Information        

What You Will Do: Facilitates external and internal reports of status for Gerson Practitioner Training Program and Follow-up Program Will attend meetings, make recommendations and outline procedures relating to new guidelines or policies Conducts annual follow-up of participant license status, insurance status and certification contract renewal Oversees exam scheduling and proctoring Identifies resources needed for annual training event and possible event coordination internally or externally Continues to enhance and monitor Patient Follow-up Program and expand to broader patient/client sources Notifies and updates Dir. of Academics & Research on trainee and instructor status, issues, and enrollment/dropouts Maintains and updates Gerson Survivor Network Support and inquiry Management of HST program Application Requirements: Resume Cover Letter 3 Professional References Example of Written Work - Academic/Professional
