On-Call Relief Worker

 Job Description        

We currently have 2 positions that are on-call, as needed positions. The first would take place in the El Cajon/East County area and would be short-notice, on-call relief for various shifts with clients both during the week and on weekends. The second position is in the central San Diego area and would also be short-notice on call relief work. With the central San Diego position, there may also be opportunity for overnight, continuous on-call work as well. We have one client that would sometimes need continuous support over the weekend. Staff is allowed to sleep during the hours of 10pm-6am but is paid for all hours (48 hrs+ of pay in these instances). Staff would usually have substantial notice of an upcoming shift of this sort. Pay is $13/hr for all shifts and there is opportunity to eventually grow the position into consistent, full-time work if desired as well as opportunity to grow and advance within the organization.

 

 Qualifications        

Community Interface Services provides support for people with developmental disabilities and is seeking a reliable worker to provide support to our amazing clients! Relief workers help clients with disabilities lead fulfilling lives. Work takes place in their homes and communities. Activities may include: Helping clients around their home, going out in the community to run errands, going to the beach, grabbing a bite to eat, shopping at the mall, going to the park, going for walks, spending time in the library, going to Boomers, etc. Get paid to have fun! A CA drivers license, safe driving record and a vehicle in good working condition are required. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in helping others, a flexible schedule a vehicle in good working condition, a safe driving record and a reliable work history.
