 Job Description        

Specific Responsibilities: Accountable to Program Manager and Division Director. Provide case management and independent living skills for at-risk youth who are participating in the Take Wing Program. Assist youth in developing skills, obtaining employment, and developing life plans that will support independence. Duties: 1. The development, implementation and evaluation of an integrated treatment approach for youth with co-occurring psychiatric and substance disorders and quality trauma informed youth programs that adhere to and uphold the rigorous standards of San Diego Youth Services as mandated by its mission, purpose, guiding principles and standards of quality. 2. Provide advocacy, information referral, crisis intervention, employment readiness and other trauma-informed direct services to at-risk youth 3. Provide case management, including life assessment and life plans to youth living in San Diego County.



Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred. Two years’ experience working with adolescents. Experience in crisis intervention, case management, youth participation and youth development. Computer literate. Culturally sensitive, trauma-informed and knowledgeable of resources in San Diego. Willing to complete clearance procedures, including testing for illegal drug use; final offer of hire pending on results of clearances. Willingness to use vehicle to transport youth and drive to appointments throughout San Diego County (mileage reimbursement provided). CPR/First Aid certified.
