Provides support, training troubleshooting, and administration for multiple financial systems and desktop computers, maintaining financial systems validation tables, users and security, managing Banner document management system security and new repositories, developing Banner Workflow models and technical specifications, supporting users with financial systems, issues and training, maintaining financial systems procedures, testing and documenting results for financial systems implementations, identifying, coordinating and testing upgrades and patches, using SQL for financial systems troubleshooting and reporting, creating and maintaining advanced Crystal Reports, maintaining Finance Department forms, and providing general desktop computer support for Finance users. Position serves as secondary backup for processing monthly recharges and capital equipment invoice approvals.
Minimum of five years professional experience working with financial systems in accounting, finance or payroll or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Minimum of two years’ experience writing SQL queries, functions, and views.
Minimum of two years’ experience administering and troubleshooting an Oracle-based enterprise financial system, including configuring user security.
Minimum two years experience creating advanced reports using Crystal Reports or other reporting tool.
Minimum three years experience supporting accounts payable business processes.
Experience with basic to moderate desktop computer support, including hardware and software installations.
Minimum of one year experience working with an enterprise document management system.
Five years’ experience writing SQL queries, functions and views.
Experience working with and supporting users of the Ellucian Banner Finance system
