 Job Description        

Position Summary Responsible for providing first level support to end-users related to clinical application (NextGen EPM and EMR) questions and use. Provides first-level problem resolution on the telephone with users; and walks the user through a series of steps to determine problem; classifies level, priority and nature of problem. If not able to resolve the issue and/or the issue requires physical interaction with end-user, dispatches the Application trainer or escalates to appropriate team member. Creates tracks and closes tickets; ensures problem ownership and promotes end-user satisfaction. He /She will be proactive in the investigation and application of best practices and have a good understanding of regulatory requirements related to the healthcare industry.



Job Requirements Knowledge of: 1. Clinical workflow in a health care setting. 2. Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. 3. Software development lifecycle and change governance. 4. Experience with quality and regulatory reporting in the healthcare industry. 5. Experience working with EMR applications (NextGen®). 6. Experience troubleshooting complex application issues. Ability to: 1. Think abstractly beyond basic data requirement. 2. Communicate in a clear and concise manner, verbally and in writing. 3. Communicate effectively and partner with senior level staff to determine business goals and objectives, and ways to partner in order to achieve those objectives. 4. Exercise strong planning, organizing, and communication skills 5. Work independently and as a team. 6. Work outside normal business hours as necessary to support production-sensitive projects.
