Database Administrator

 Job Description        

The Database Administrator manages and implements North County Lifeline’s CRM database which encompasses donor, volunteer, event, grant, media, and prospect data. The Database Administrator plays a crucial role within North County Lifeline’s growing Community Engagement department. North County Lifeline is a $10M organization with a mission focused on self-reliance for youth and families. The organization grew by 15% last year, employing more than 100 staff members and relying on hundreds of volunteers. This position serves as the single point of contact for all gift entry and data management, including modules for events, grants, and volunteer data. This position maintains database policies and procedures, trains staff and volunteers on accurate coding, and ensures ongoing data standardization. The ideal candidate has experience managing a donor database, creating custom queries and reports to support fundraising, and providing administrative office support.

 

 Qualifications        

Bachelor’s degree in related field or 3-4 years technical experience in database management required. Two or more years of fundraising and/or other CRM software experience in a database management and administration role with database customization experience preferred. In house training is provided on GiftWorks. Ideal candidate will have working knowledge of some of the following: Microsoft Access, SQL, Crystal Reports, Database Programming. Experience managing system upgrades, data organization and transition a plus. Extensive attention to detail required. Strong writing and proofreading skills required

 

 Additional Information        

Work Schedule Full- time 40 hours per week- Monday – Friday; non- exempt position. Weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Hiring range is $20 to $22 (salary is negotiable for the right candidate). There is additional bilingual English/Spanish compensation available for qualified candidates.
