 Job Description        

Survivors of Suicide Loss is looking for a part-time intern to support our main website and fundraising event pages. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to be part of the nonprofit community here in San Diego. The main responsibilities will be creating and updating our event pages that will be marketed to our SOSL community. Other duties will revolve around creating a greater online presence for SOSL. Duties and Responsibilities Support the web team in maintaining web platforms Assist with creating and maintaining fundraiser event pages Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support Provide online support for virtual events and meetings Organize and maintain website resources Lend support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management Assist with GoogleAds campaigns



Minimum Qualifications Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major or related area Minimum GPA of 3.0 Familiarity with CMS platforms, particularly WordPress and Rallybound Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well in teams Strong work ethic, coachable, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Understanding of website security, performance, and SEO Familiar with Java, .NET, CSS JavaScript or HTML/DHTML, PHP, and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalents Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills


 Additional Information        

This is a part-time position that will work up to 10 hours a week. The compensation will be $15/hr. There is flexibility with the hours depending on the schedule of the candidate. The term of this internship will be no longer than 6 months.
