Under the direction of the Director of Development, Institutional Giving & Donor Relations, the Donor Services Manager is a key member of the development team at Feeding San Diego (FSD). The position is responsible for overseeing donor services, including database management, gift entry and reconciliation, acknowledgements and stewardship processes, project management, reporting, and prospect research.
In addition, the Donor Services Manager is responsible for achieving short-term and long-term financial goals for the annual giving program, including the coordination of direct response fundraising, and administration of the organization’s donor affinity groups.

Qualifications |

|
Strong writing, communication, and project management skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience managing a Salesforce database; Salesforce Admin Certification preferred
Exceptional customer service skills; ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with donors and volunteers
Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to synthesize complex information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital marketing platforms, wealth screening software, and research tools
Commitment to continuous improvement
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Effective in working well under pressure with tight deadlines

Oversee the organization’s CRM database, including data integrity, timely gift acknowledgement process, accuracy of records, process improvement, data analysis, donor research, and staff training.
Facilitate a robust relationship management system to cultivate relationships with current donors and new prospects, using best practices in fundraising techniques.
Work closely with the Director of Development, Institutional Giving and Donor Relations to develop strategies and tactics to expand annual giving (gifts less than $1,000) with a focus on increasing annual gifts to support a healthy
