 Job Description        

Provide tier 1 technical assistance and support via chat, email, phone, and remote. Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues. Create procedural documentation for FAQ and knowledgebase. Documents, tracks, and examine problems to ensure timely solutions. Maintain daily performance of all computer systems. Basic local domain and Office 365 administration. Installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software; and installs peripherals for users. Addresses basic technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems to resolve network connectivity issues.Basic administration and troubleshooting of Cox IP Centrex VOIP System (Add/Remove users, configure notifications, etc). Participation in projects including hardware and software refresh, inventory and deployment. Update service requests for timely response, resolution and fulfillment of SLA's.

 

 Qualifications        

Community HousingWorks has a full-time opportunity for a Help Desk Administration. A successful candidate will be providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to ticketing system, runs diagnostic tools, isolates problem, and determine and implements solutions. 3 years of Computer Systems related experience (Required) 1 year of Windows operations system troubleshooting. Office 365 experience. Ubiquiti/Unifi Networks experience. A+ Certificatio. The ability to research the development of solutions for newly identified issues and technologies as they arise. Ability to work independently, and on multiple high priority projects simultaneously. Oversee complex technical issues for the team and work with appropriate teams on solutions as needed.

 

 Additional Information        

Ability to provide on-site & remote desktop support to customers. Familiarity supporting (not engineering) TCP/IP, cables, IP phones, workstation connectivity, printer connectivity, and Active Directory administration. Ability to be responsible, dependable, and committed to building a long-term career at Community HousingWorks. Being a goal-driven team player with solid organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. Thorough knowledge of PC, server hardware and configuration including related peripherals. Strong customer service and problem solving skills including the ability to provide diligent, prompt, and courteous responses to users’ questions or PC issues. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task and maintain good communication is a must.
